Today’s Marking – Dangling X

Where: See the handprint…Dangling X or X’s hang from the heart line, usually under the pinky (Mercury) finger or in between the ring (Apollo) and pinky (Mercury) fingers.

What: They indicate feelings of betrayal, by spouse, romantic partner, family or close friend, even yourself! An important point to keep in mind…you wouldn’t be able to feel this unless you betrayed yourself in some way first. What lies have you told yourself about your relationship(s)? What did you commit to yourself to do that you flaked out about?

Dangling x’s are a call to be more open and supportable. After feeling betrayed, we grow sharp points on our hearts to keep people away so we won’t ever get betrayed again. But of course there are people out there who want to support you and will not betray you, but unless you give them a chance you’ll never know it!

Master Path: Understanding and embracing the awareness that all feelings begin with us. We create the feeling in ourselves, then create our reality and circumstances to reinforce that feeling. Betrayal starts with us. Be honest and reliable to and for yourself, and betrayal will diminish in your life.

Student Path: Blaming others completely for these feelings, not seeing we attracted the situation that manifested that betrayal. Also, perhaps perceiving someone’s act or words as betrayal when in reality it had nothing to do with you.
