Today’s Marking – The Selfishness Line
Where: See the photo…A Selfishness line, also called Anti-Agent line, is a short horizontal line in the Jupiter mound, below the index/Jupiter finger. It is truly horizontal, not slanted, and therefore a “no” line stopping relevant energy.
What: The Selfishness line indicates 2 things: that you have a lot of power, and because of that you sometimes feel selfish.
Being a horizontal line, it stops energy. Jupiter is about power, influence, and leadership, so that means this line (or the mindset behind it) can stop your drive and ambition and ability to embrace your power and use it in a positive way for your behalf (and others). Any time you hold back your natural power, it backfires.
The anti-agent name comes from not acting as your own agent, supporting, promoting, and putting your power out into the world.
So, if you have this line, be aware of diminishing your power for any reason and grab it with gusto! Using your power doesn’t mean hurting or taking advantage of others.
I used to have one of these, but as I write this I can’t see it anymore! However I do still struggle sometimes with holding back my power because I know I can unintentionally intimidate people. But here’s the point, if that happens, it is mostly about them. As long as I am on purpose, with love and compassion, I’m on the Master path. There are some people, those who struggle to stand in their power, those with self-worth issues, that I (and others with natural power) am plain and simple going to intimidate every once in a while. I wish it were different but all of these situations are learning experiences for both sides.

A PERSONAL NOTE
Can you see it? Right in the middle of the photo. A bald eagle! It flew over my head in Belmar Park, and landed in a tree close by. This shot was the best I could do at the time. So cool! One of only about 6 I’ve seen in the past 9 years. I’m so grateful for this view of such a beautiful, powerful bird.
