Today’s Marking – Romantic Idealist Heart Line

Where: See the handprint below…as I’ve indicated in the past two editions, the heart line is the uppermost horizontal line across the hand, always originating at the outer edge under the pinky finger. Where it ends determines the type. The 4 basic heart line types are Big Heart, Hermit, Romantic Idealist, and Passionate.

The heart line pointed out below is a Romantic Idealist, which is mostly straight, may have a little curve, and goes all the way across the hand to at least past the halfway point between the middle and index fingers, and often well under the index finger.

What: We hand analysts call this “Think think think about how you feel, feel feel.” The owner of a Romantic Idealist shows love with words of endearment and reinforcement, long deep meaningful conversations, considerate actions and behavior, and thoughtful gifts. They would never keep a wrapped gift in a closet in case they needed one at the last minute, oh no! They think about the ideal gift and go get it. You can see why this relationship style is one of the “other-focused” styles, along with the Big Heart.

Because they are in their heads/thoughts and analyze their feelings and relationships a lot, they can be quite romantic, but not so mushy. That heart line is pretty straight, so that means less outward display of emotion.

A Romantic Idealist heart line that goes all the way across the hand to the far side of the Jupiter mound (the mound under the index finger) is called a Humanitarian… VERY other-focused and often interested in global humanitarian work of some kind.

Student Path: Primarily, being in their heads too much about their emotions, rather than feeling and processing their feelings in their hearts. Think think think!

A PERSONAL NOTE

It was a standoff! This big male squirrel jumped from a close tree onto one of my balconies and teased my cat mercilessly. He climbed all over the screen door, then plopped down right in front of Elmer, who jumped at him several times. The first few times the squirrel jumped back, but eventually got used to the fierce kitty being stopped by the glass door. It was entertaining for Elmer and for me too!
