Today’s Marking – Mercury Mate Selector

Where: See the handprint…it’s the little piece of line extending from the headline in the middle of the hand up toward the pinky finger. It is usually longer than this, i.e. gets closer to the pinky, called Mercury.

What: Master Path – Attraction to people you think are clever, witty, and good, natural communicators. This is my Mercury Mate Selector! Yes it’s my hand, and I am always aware of very articulate people and natural orators. No accident I was a professional speaker for many years, right? I guess I wanted to be like them! I find naturally gifted speakers inspiring, and I learn from them, both new words and speaking skills. And of course, who doesn’t like to laugh, a sharp wit gets me every time.

Student Path: You doubt your own communication skills and cleverness, or don’t trust them; sometimes desire the other person to articulate things clearly for you. So let’s see, how do I experience the student path? Mostly when I see others as better communicators, not just different than my style. Communication is throughout my hands, and has been throughout my careers as well. Pretty cool! And again, no accident.

A PERSONAL NOTE

Accident update – First of all thank you to everyone who reached out with words of support! I appreciated every single one, sincerely. My surgery last week went very well, I am now bionic! A plate and 8 screws have reconnected my shattered collarbone so I’m on my way to faster healing, yay! I’m still very sore as you can imagine, but I see small improvements almost every day. My ribs have realigned and are healing well, and my lung has recovered from the puncture with no liquid in it anymore. (I coughed all that up last week, yuk. Sorry…TMI?) Now is the time for patience…patience with my lack of mobility, discomfort, range of motion, and inability to work full-time. I face weeks of more recovery but I will get there!
