[Hand Analysis] Attack or Opportunity?

Today’s Marking – Tomato and Intimacy Opportunity Lines

Where: See the handprint below…Opportunity (also called attack) lines always start inside the life line in the Mars zone (between life line and inside edge of hand, above the thumb). The Mars zone is the masculine area of the hand, so the Master path would involve courage and taking action, the student path would involve anger or challenges with taking action.

Where they end determines the type of self-attack, or the type of opportunity with which you are being called to focus some attention, energy, or healing.

What: A Tomato attack line runs from Mars to somewhere underneath the ring, or Apollo, finger. As I have mentioned in other newsletters, “lines” do not necessarily run as straight as they do in this drawing. Opportunity lines can also be very faint, curved, crooked, broken up and jumping over gaps, etc.

Because the Apollo finger (and the palm area below it) represents the creative part of the hand, a Tomato line indicates self-attack in creative expression, or an opportunity to focus some attention on your creative expression. Why “tomato?” From the Shakespearean fear of having tomatoes, or other vegetables, thrown at you on stage!

Master path = accepting and embracing your creativity, trusting you will find the tribe who wants it and will pay for it, having courage to put creative work out there. Student path = attacking your creativity…not believing it, being very critical of it; fearing humiliation and rejection…”tomato fear.”

An Intimacy attack line runs from Mars to somewhere underneath the pinky, or Mercury, finger. Mercury represents communication, trust, intimacy, surrendering to higher self and intuition or Divine guidance.

So, an intimacy opportunity line indicates an opportunity to focus attention on true intimacy with yourself and others. Aligned with intimacy are trust in various forms, communication.

Master path = having the courage to tell yourself your inner truth without judgment, and being able to share it with those closest to you. Student path = Not accepting all parts of yourself; fearing judgment by others so not sharing deepest parts of yourself, therefore unable to create safety, trust, and true intimacy. Feeling incapable of expressing intimacy; could emotionally/verbally attack others who try to get too close.

A PERSONAL NOTE

Just finished my 7-day river cruise along the Danube! Fabulous! I am sold on river cruises. Unpacked once but toured 6 different towns/cities in 4 different countries…Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary. Received a crazy good promotion for travel agents only, the cost was so low that the value of it paid for 4 years of my agent fees!
