Today’s Marking – Ring of Solomon

Oh my goodness I was so good at ignoring this! Since I can remember, I had a sense about people. Were they good, honest, compassionate or creepy, slimy, mean. I just knew.
I can remember distinctly a time when, at around 10 years old, I went with my mom to help her run errands, one being grabbing a few things at the local independent corner grocery store. As we pulled up out front, I watched a man walk in just as my mom asked me to run in to buy some milk and bread. I wouldn’t say the hair on the back of my neck went up, but I certainly picked up a really creepy feeling after seeing that man. I refused to go into the store, I actually said “No” to my mom, unheard of up until that moment.
She looked at me incredulously, shocked at my refusal. She asked me again, I refused again. I was too embarrassed to explain why, I felt she would think I was being silly. But I was NOT going to go into that store. Mom looked at me for a very long minute, completely confused and frustrated. But she didn’t push it any further, and we drove on home.
I have no idea if anything bad happened in the store, or who that man was. Back then I trusted those feelings. As I grew older I buried them and pushed them aside, but since my initial hand analysis 10 years ago, and learning about all the intuitive markings in my hands, I’ve been working on bringing them back. Yay! My intuition comes in very handy during my coaching calls with clients.
The Ring of Solomon is one of several possible intuitive markings in the hands.
Where: See the handprint…This marking shows up as a slightly curved horizontal line across the mound under the index finger but above the heartline.
What: People with a Ring of Solomon have an intuitive ability to see through people and spot the truth…we call it x-ray vision into people. They can spot BS more easily than others too. They know quickly who they like, who they trust, who gives them the creeps. Pretty handy to have if you are aware of it, recognize it, use it, and be grateful for it!
Master Path Strategies: Be aware and trust your gut about people. You won’t be correct 100% of the time and that’s okay. When it works for you, express thanks for it and it will become more and more reliable!
Student Path: Ignoring this intuitive ability, not knowing how to recognize it (is it words in your head; a feeling in your throat, chest, or gut; a quiet knowing?), and/or not trusting the signals you get.

A PERSONAL NOTE
On the one and only cloudy day this week, I walked around Kendrick Lake in Lakewood with my friend Phillis. Even with no sun, it was gorgeous! The colors don’t show up as brightly in these photos as they were in person. I had wanted to walk this trail for months, I saw it when I started driving a new way to the barn every day. Lots of people enjoy this park and lake, it’s a short hike around an asphalt path, just under a mile. So we walked it both directions for a still short but almost-two-mile hike. So Pretty!
