Where: See the handprint below…The Mars zone is circled. Special markings in this area mean the potential for extra courage!
What: As mentioned, markings in the Mars zone indicate lots of courage potential, especially a fingerprint or 6-pointed star! The Mars zone is the masculine area of the hand, indicating capacity to take risks, take action, advocate in difficult situations and for the underdog, and use courage for mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual challenges. You will still feel fear…but you have what it takes to push through it and take action in spite of that fear! A fingerprint means you were born with this extra courage, and vertical lines in that area indicate you have experienced one or more situations that required you to muster up some courage. It is still there when and if you need it!
Master path = Using that courage, stepping into the fear and taking action and risks you know you need to take, advocating for the underdog.
Student path = Not taking action, staying in cowardice, not advocating, being overly aggressive, anger issues, having buried anger at yourself if you’re not taking action because you know at some level you really have the courage to do it!

A PERSONAL NOTE
Look at that smile! Scarlett makes me so happy. I desperately miss riding her as my shoulder heals from clavicle surgery, but I’ve been hand-walking her almost 2 miles nearly every day. I will ride before my surgeon would like me to but will have friends help me saddle her. That’s the biggest risk of refracture while my bone is still riddled with screw holes…lifting up and away from my body. Riding does not use my arm much, and considering I’ve fallen only once in the last 20 years, the risk of that is quite low. Besides, if I fell off the chances are I would break something anyway, weak clavicle or not!
