Today’s Marking – Opportunity or Self-Attack Lines
Where: See the handprint below…Opportunity lines always start inside the life line in the Mars zone (between life line and inside edge of hand, above the thumb). The Mars zone represents your masculine side, so the Master path for any of these lines would involve courage and taking action relevant to what the line indicates, and the student path would involve anger or challenges, staying stuck.
Where these lines end determines the type of self-attack, or the type of opportunity with which you are being called to focus some attention, action, energy, or healing. These self-attack lines are common on sensitive people. So…I have several! As do most of my clients.
There are 7 types of Opportunity lines, I have drawn them on the print below. Below the image they are listed by name in the order in which they appear from top right to bottom. Please be aware they are not usually as straight or wide as on the image, they can have a slight curve to them and are often not completely connected all the way from the Mars area to the end, they can be broken up a little.
I’ll explain the top one in this newsletter, then address two at a time in subsequent editions.
What: Starting from the top down:
- Abyss line
- Tomato line
- Intimacy line
- Divorce line
- Zindler line
- Career/fate attack line
- Intuition/Moon attack line
The Abyss line runs up to the middle, or Saturn finger. It involves responsibility, dependability, taking care of the important things.
Master path = Courage to handle and address accountability, responsibility, the ‘hard stuff of life.’
Student path = feeling off-balance, heavily burdened by responsibility, stuck, depressed, frustrated. The ‘stuckness’ can come from Saturn responsibility not allowing Mars to take risks.
I used to have an Abyss line. Before I found hand analysis I was very frustrated and sad, I felt I was not living up to my potential…that I was not making the difference in the world I sensed I was meant to make. I was angry at myself about that, about feeling like I had wasted most of my life! Since I found and have been conducting Hand Analysis and Purpose Coaching for over ten years now, my Abyss line has broken up and it’s hard to trace now. Yippee!!

A PERSONAL NOTE
It’s baby geese season! This year it’s seems as though they were all born on the same day. I saw three families within 2 days, all with the same size goslings, so tiny! Little puffballs on stilts.
